The Parent and Toddler group visited Chester Zoo on 21st August for a day of adventure!
The children saw many different animals at the zoo including orangutans, lions, tigers, elephants and giraffes.
We visited the Tropical Realm which was full of snakes and reptiles…
Saw hundreds of butterflies on the Butterfly Journey…
and wandered through the Realm of the Red Ape, a sanctuary for monkeys.
The whole day was a wonderful experience, both as a learning tool for all the kids to see animals up close and understand more about them, and also as a fun day out for the parents as well. We’re now all thinking about the next trip to be planned!
